11-Year-Old Boy Killed in Farm Accident

An 11-year-old boy suffered fatal injuries in an accident involving a tractor and bush hog in Franklin County Wednesday morning.

Caleb Coxwell, 11, was riding a tractor that was pulling a bush hog when the tractor hit a small tree around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at a farm on County Road 87 near the intersection of Franklin County Road 78 in the Tharptown Community.

Coxwell fell off the tractor and was run over by the bus hog before the driver could stop. Coxwell was killed in the accident.
