13 People Injured in Bus Accident

Thirteen people were injured Thursday when a Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) bus crashed into a light pole.

The driver allegedly began to doze off, causing the bus to run off the road and hit the pole. Twelve passengers and the driver were taken to a local hospital to receive treatment.

The victims sustained their injuries and the worst that were reported were a broken nose and a possible concussion.

Police are investigating the accident, but have cited the driver for careless driving.
