2 Killed, 2 Injured in I-79 Collision
Two people were killed and two suffered injuries in a multiple-vehicle accident on Interstate 79 Wednesday evening.
A female driver was traveling southbound on I-79 when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed the center line, crashing into three northbound vehicles around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night near mile marker 80.
The southbound female driver and one of the drivers of a northbound car were killed in the accident. At least one of the two other people injured was airlifted to Ruby Memorial Hospital.
The accident is being investigated by the Braxton County Sheriff’s Department.
