2 Men Drown in River Rafting Accident

Two men drowned in a river rafting accident on the Arkansas River near Buena Vista, Colorado Tuesday afternoon.

The two men were rafting with another man and a woman when they were thrown from the raft in rough rapids around noon Tuesday. One of the men was pulled out of the river by the other occupants of the raft but he could not be revived.

The second man continued about seven miles down the river before he was pulled out but he could not be revived.
