2-Year-Old Amish Girl Killed in Farm Accident
A 2-year old Amish girl was killed in a forklift accident on a farm in south-central, Pennsylvania Tuesday.
The young girl, whose identity has not been released pending family notification, was riding a forklift with a 16-year-old boy when the accident occurred on her family’s farm southeast of Lancaster.
The girl was sitting on the lap of the boy, who was driving the machine, when the forklift tipped over and fatally pinned her underneath.
The boy was said by police to be a relative.
