30-Year-Old Man Injured in Bicycle Accident

A 30-year-old man was hospitalized after he suffered head injuries in a bicycle accident in Saratoga Springs Sunday afternoon.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was riding his bicycle northbound on Broadway when he was hit a vehicle turning left into a parking lot around 1:22 p.m.

The man, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his head.

The driver of the vehicle, from Vermont, will most likely be charged with failing to yield the right of way.

The accident is under investigation.
