5-Year-Old Dragged 30 Feet by School Bus

A 5-year-old girl was injured Thursday when her backpack got caught on a school bus’s doors and was pulled over 30 feet down the road.

Police were able to retrieve a security video that caught the incident. The girl’s 7-year-old sister ran to the school bus when the driver stopped. The little girl was taken to a local hospital to receive treatment.

The girl’s father is considering suing for the incident. He was allegedly outraged when the school bus driver never stepped out to check on how the girl was after she had been dragged.

The school district is reviewing the video and fully investigating the accident.
