8-year-old San Diego Boy Killed in Boat Crash

An 8-year-old San Diego boy was killed Sunday and five others injured when two boats crashed into each other.

During a Christmas boat parade a 33-foot long Coast Guard boat smashed into another boat for reasons that have yet to be determined.

Medical crews rushed a young boy and five other seriously injured passengers to a local hospital. The 8-year-old boy was pronounced dead soon after arriving.

The five people aboard the Coast Guard boat were uninjured.

An investigation is still being conducted to discover the cause of the fatal boat accident.
