Anderson County Accident Leaves 1 Dead, 3 Injured

One man was killed and three others were hospitalized in a two-accident in Anderson County, South Carolina.

According to Anderson County Deputy Coroner Don McCown, Clifton Earl Sutton,40, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Sutton was traveling in a 1990 Oldsmobile four door sedan westbound on Big Creek Road when a 1987 Chevrolet Lumina veered across the centerline and hit the Oldsmobile head on, said officials.

Two passengers in the Oldsmobile, Katrenia Robinson, 46, and Stephon Sullivan, 47, suffered injuries in the accident and were taken to area hospitals.

The driver of the Chevrolet Lumina, Donald Toney, of Williams, suffered injuries to his hip and back was taken to the hospital for treatment.
