Arizona Electrician Shocked by 277-Volt Wire
An Arizona electrician was seriously injured Tuesday after being shocked by a 277-volt wire.
Mike Reichling, 54, was replacing a light while on a scissor lift when a live wire sent a 277-volt shock through his entire body.
Reichling went into cardiac arrest and medical crews rushed him to a local hospital for treatment, where he is currently in critical condition.
Police and OSHA are conducting an investigation into the almost fatal accident.
Reichling is an employee of Phoenix’s Viking Electric Company.
