Bicyclist Dies Two Days After Hit By SUV
A bicyclist struck by a sports utility vehicle Tuesday night in Seneca suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead Thursday, said Coroner Karl Addis.
James Walter Craft, 42, of Seneca, was attempting to cross the street on his bicycle at the intersection of Mimosa Street and East South Second Street when he was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Zammie Loreta Moon, 51, also of Seneca.
Craft was transported by helicopter to the Greenville Memorial Hospital neuro-trauma intensive care unit where was pronounced dead two days later on Thursday morning.
Chief John Covington of the Seneca Police Department said the results of the investigation will not lead to any charges.
