Body of Canoe Accident Victim Recovered

The body of a man who went missing March 28 after a canoeing accident in Grapevine Lake was recovered Friday evening at Silverlake Marina in Texas.

The body of Trevor Rotzoll, 26, was discovered near the breakwater at Silverlake Marina just before 5 p.m. Friday. Texas Parks and Wildlife wardens used sonar equipment to locate him, and then Grapevine Fire Department divers brought up his remains.

Rotzoll had been reported missing March 28 after his canoe capsized near Silverlake Marina.

What caused the canoe to capsize is unknown.
