Boy Killed in Bus Accident
A kindergarten student in the Greenway School district was was hit by a school bus Monday.
The familly is mourning the death of 6-year old Dominick Lee Strey who died at the scene of the accident.
The accident happened in front of Dominick’s grandparents house at around 4:00 p.m. south of Calumet.
According to reports, Dominick just got off the bus when he walked in front of the vehicle to pick up a piece of paper. The driver of the bus, Anita Diana Olson Ketola, did not see the boy and ran him over.
