Cab Driver and Passenger Killed in Crash

A cab driver and his passenger were killed in a car accident Tuesday night in the Bronx.

The cab driver, Pedro Luis Berrios, was transporting Ann Flournoy, 29, when the cab collided with a 2009 Mazda SUV driven by a 27-year-old at Laconia and Waring Ave. in the Allerton Section.

Berrios was stuck in the cab and was extricated by two witnesses, Lenny Salati and Anthony Maietta.

Both Berrios and Flournoy were killed in the accident.

The driver of the SUV, whose name has not been released, was taken to Jacobi Hospital and is listed in critical condition.

The accident is under investigation.
