Car Hits and Kills Ohio woman
An Ohio woman was killed Sunday when a car crashed into her while she was crossing a road.
Holly Hammond, 53, was hit by a car being driven by Frank Boyer, 51. Boyer claimed to have been honking at Hammond and attempted to stop but was not able to in time.
Medical crews arrived on the scene and rushed Hammond to a local hospital for treatment. She was in critical condition and airlifted to a hospital in Columbus where she was unable to survive her injuries.
Police are conducting an investigation into the fatal accident. The driver was not charged in the accident as he was traveling at the speed limit and had the right of way.
