Jacob Espinoza was going down a snow-covered driveway when his sled pitched him off and directly in front of a Toyota Camry.

Medical crews arrived on scene and airlifted the boy to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. He was unable to survive the injuries he sustained.

Police are still investigating. The 54-year-old driver, Lian Ng, has not yet been charged in the accident. According to the authorities, alcohol or drugs was not thought of to have been involved.

David Laughinghouse, 34, and his step-brother Richard Eubanks, were cycling down an Augusta road around 3 a.m. when a SUV hit them from behind.

Laughinghouse was unable to survive the deadly crash. Eubanks was rushed to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries and has since been released.

According to police, the men did not have any lights on their bikes and it was raining at that time. Charges against Linda Elliot, the 37-year-old driver, will likely not be filed.

The accident is still under investigation.

A witness reported the accident around 2:45 a.m. Michigan police arrived on the scene to find that the truck had lost control and struck an energy pole.

Medical crews arrived on the scene, where the passenger was unable to survive the injuries. The driver is currently hospitalized for non life-threatening injuries. The identities of the people involved have not yet been released.

Police are still investigating. Whether drugs or alcohol was involved is still being determined.

A pickup truck was pulling the woman on the sled when she crashed into a guardrail. She was unable to survive the injuries she sustained.

Three people were in the vehicle that was pulling the woman, whose name has not yet been released.

Oklahoma City authorities and the District Attorney’s Office are continuing to investigate.

Rowan Gaines, 44, reported to court Tuesday morning for a charge of driving under the influence while operating a snow plow and the resulting death of Allen Andrew.

Gaines was allegedly driving a snow plow drunk when he accidentally struck and killed Andrew in January of 2009.

The Erie County Court Judge Michael Pietruszka has sentenced Gaines to one to three years.

Stephen Homol, 42, was driving in Swansea Saturday morning when he lost control of his vehicle after attempting a sharp turn. His car was later discovered about 40 feet into the woods.

A passenger in the car, 42-year-old Jason Levesque, was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital. He was unable to survive the injuries he sustained.

Homol is facing charges for his second DUI offense and now a resulting death of DUI.

Rodney Connally was hunting for deer in Rusk County when he shot off his gun and  accidentally hit and killed 41-year-old Louis Conner.

Connally is currently in the Rusk County Jail with his bail set at $50,000.

Authorities are thoroughly investigating the matter.

Further charges related to the shooting are pending the investigation.

The 45-year-old victims, Teresa Rojas and Luis Duran, were riding bicycles down a Dixon road in Illinois when a fertilizer truck crashed into them.

The two cyclists were not able to survive the deadly crash.

Police are still investigating and they have not yet released driver’s name.

Malcolm Miles, 21, was driving with Jaxon Miles, 10, in the front seat. Miles fell asleep at the wheel and when he suddenly came to he jerked the truck, causing it to spin and flip over.

The truck came to rest upside down and in a canal.

Jaxon did not have a seat belt on and was thrown from the vehicle.

Emergency medical crews flew the boy to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, but he was unable to survive his fatal injuries.

 Malcolm Miles was taken to a hospital for treatment and was later released.

Police are investigating the fatal accident.
