Child Suffers Minor Injures in Car Accident

A child suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Veterans Parkway.

Emergency crews responded to an accident on Veterans Parkway believing they would find a rollover accident resulting in two injuries when really the collision only involved one vehicle striking a guardrail, as they learned at the scene. A child passenger suffered minor injuries to their ear.

A second accident occurred in the 600 block of Walnut Creek Road around 10:47 a.m. when reportedly a vehicle lost control and ran into a tree off the roadway. The extent of the injuries is unknown.
