Columbia Falls Man Killed in ATV Crash

A Columbia Falls man was killed in an ATV accident Thursday evening.

Glenn Shepard, 59, of Columbia Falls, was riding an ATV along an old logging road when he lost control and was thrown from the vehicle around 7:30 p.m. Thursday about 18 miles up the west side of Hungry Horse Dam Road.

Responders performed CPR but Shepard, whose head had struck the ground, was pronounced dead at the scene.
