Couple Killed in Rollover Accident

A couple was killed Sunday afternoon in a rollover accident in Kentucky.

While traveling in Carter County, 86-year-old Richard Everman hit an embankment with his car which caused it to roll.

His wife, 85-year-old Kathleen Everman, was seriously injured and unable to survive the crash. Medical crews arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene.

Richard Everman was immediately airlifted to a hospital, but was unable to survive the injuries he sustained.

Police are continuing to investigate the fatal accident.

Alcohol was not thought of to have been a factor and both were wearing their seat belts.
