Crash on PCH Kills One and Injures Six

Los Angeles–A fatal crash on the Pacific Coast highway claimed the life of one and left six other injured Wednesday, August 3rd.  Police are ruling excessive speed as the main cause of the crash. A 35-year-old male was ruled dead at the scene of the crash, while an unlicensed 27-year-old and a 15-year-old had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital in critical conditions. Authorities said that one car collided with a pole on the 16300 block of the West PCH around midnight, which closed down the highway until 8 a.m. The other four individuals in the crash were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. those victims ranged in age from one to 17-years-old.
