Dyersville Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident

A woman was killed and another suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday in Dyersville.

Cedric M. Faith, 68, of Fort Dodge, was driving westbound on U.S. 20 when her vehicle struck the drivers side of a vehicle driven by Patricia A. Gassmann, 73, of Dyersville as she attempted to cross the westbound lanes at about 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Gassmann was taken to Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque where she was pronounced dead.

A passenger in Faith’s car, Phyllis F. Faye, 66, of Fort Dodge, was taken to Mercy Hospital suffering from injuries.
