Eagle Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident
It is believed that speed and alcohol may be contributing factors in a fatal motorcycle accident near Murdock Sunday night.
David R. Dillon, 48, of Eagle, was riding his 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Highway 1 when he lost control of the vehicle and rode off the shoulder of the roadway just south of Bluff Road around 8 p.m. Sunday.
Dillon was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Authorities said alcohol and speed were contributing factors to the accident.
