A father of two was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday night in Georgetown, Texas.

Pompeyo Guzman, 47, a Georgetown plumber and father of two, had one year of motorcycle riding experience prior to the accident. Guzman was riding on the east frontage road of I-35 and traveling at about 55 miles an hour when a white or silver subcompact car cut him off when the vehicle pulled in front of him.

Guzman attempted to avoid the car but crashed in the process. He was transported to Scott & White Hospital in Temple where he was pronounced dead.

Georgetown Police are looking for two different sets of witnesses who may have witnessed the accident and have information regarding the deadly motorcycle accident.

Two of the witnesses that Georgetown police were able to speak to say that the vehicle that cut Guzman off stopped after the accident at the scene. Witnesses saw two young girls, described as white and between 16-20 years of age, get out a white or silver subcompact car and take a quick look at Guzman before getting back into their vehicle and fleeing the scene.
