Five People Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident
Five people suffered injuries in a two-car collision Saturday night in Molino, Florida.
A pickup truck was involved in a collision with a Pontiac Grand Am on Highway 95A, south of Meharg Road at approximately 10:00 p.m. Saturday. The impact of the collision caused the pickup truck onto its side and the Pontiac Grand Am off the roadway.
Two passengers traveling in the pickup suffered injuries and three people traveling in the Grand Am, including one juvenile, were injured. One person was airlifted to a Pensacola hospital and the other four injured were taken by ambulance to the hospital.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
The Molino, McDavid, Century, McDavid and Cantonment stations of Escambia Fire Rescue responded to the accident along with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department, Escambia County EMS and the Florida Highway Patrol.
