Flood Waters Kill Mother and Baby in Alabama

Floodwaters swept a car holding a mother and her infant boy in Alabama on this week. 27 year old mother Crystal Vaughn was identified as the victim along with her 1 1/2 year old baby boy. The accident occured in Western Alabama as flooding caused by heavy rains swept through the state. Vaughn was following a relative when the floodwaters swept her car away. According to state troopers, the other car was also submerged by the floodwaters but they escaped their vehicle and were not injured.
