Florida Girl Hit by Car & Killed
A Florida 17-year-old was killed Friday after being hit by a car while crossing a street.
Nora Hernandez-Huapilla and a friend were running across a street to reach their school bus when she was struck by a car. The two students failed to see that the oncoming traffic had a green light.
Medical crews arrived on the scene and rushed the teen to a local hospital where she was pronounced as dead.
Police are continuing an investigation into the unfortunate and fatal car accident.
