Hit-And-Run Driver Kills Pedestrian
A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday night in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Arthur Burrus, 49, was attempting to cross Erie Avenue near 20th Street when he was fatally struck by a vehicle driven by Luciano Rios, 30, of Croydon, Bucks County, Tuesday night, said spokesman for the Medical Examiner’s Office, Jeff Moran.
Rios fled the scene and was later arrested and charged with homicide by vehicle and related offenses for his supposed involvement in the incident.
