Idaho Teen Critically Injured in Hit-And-Run Accident
A teenage boy is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was found laying on the side of the road after being the victim of a hit and run accident Friday morning in Eagle, Idaho.
The Eagle High School student was found unconscious surrounded by glass and broken plastic by a neighbor who then called the police. The boy was transported by ambulance to the High School and then taken by Life Flight to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. His condition is unknown at this time.
The collision occurred in Eagle on Park Lane between Highway 44 and Eagle High School. The boy was walking along the road around 7:45 a.m. when he was struck by the vehicle, which sped away from the scene.
Police impounded a silver vehicle with damage to its right front fender that they found in the student section of the Eagle High School and are currently interviewing a possible subject in the case.
