Illinois Man Facing 3 Felony Charges for Hit and Run

A 31-year-old Illinois man is facing three felony charges for fleeing the site of a hit-and-run accident.

Billy Watts crashed into a utility pole on Sept. 24 and left his injured passenger alone on the road. Kyle Jungkans, 25, was seriously injured and taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center when medical crews arrived on the scene.

Watts has been charged with three felonies including driving under the influence, failure to report an accident involving personal injury or death, and failure to stop after an accident has occurred involving personal injury or death.

As of now, Jungkans is in stable condition and has been released from the hospital.
