Intoxicated Woman Arrested in One-Vehicle Crash
A woman was arrested after a one-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon on Highway 49 in California.
The 50-year-old woman of Altaville was driving her 1994 Buick southbound on Highway 94 when she railed to negotiate a curve and drove off the right side of the roadway near River Ranch Rd and overcorrected traveling back across all lanes around 2:05 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle drove up an embankment and then overturned several times, coming to a rest on its roof.
The woman was taken to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital and then airlifted to Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael.
The woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
