A Los Angeles aerial performer was injured Saturday after free falling down 40 feet while performing.
The unidentified 26-year-old woman was not harnessed while hanging upside down from a metal hoop during a “Hunky Santa and the Candy Cane Girls” performance at the Beverly Center Mall.
The performer slipped and fell 40 feet down, finally landing on a video projection cube.
Medical crews arrived on the scene and rushed the woman to a local hospital for treatment. She suffered a fractured pelvis and a broken wrist.
