La Crosse City Employee Injured in Accident

A La Crosse city employee was injured while working at a Waste Water Treatment Plant.

The 40-year-old worker was greasing a machine that works to separate sewage from rags when for unknown reasons the machine closed on his arms at the treatment plant in La Crosse.

Another employee witnessed the accident and drove the victim to a nearby hospital.

According to authorities, it is not known if the man’s hands can be saved.

The accident is under investigation.
