Man Arrested After Two-Vehicle Injury Accident

A man was arrested with multiple charges for his involvement in a two-vehicle injury accident Thursday morning.

John Heaton III, 45, of Wheaton Road, was traveling eastbound on Whisconier Road when he veered into oncoming traffic and struck a westbound vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Danbury Hospital for neck and back pain.

Heaton was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive in the proper lane and distracted driving while committing a moving violation.
