Man Critically Injured in Farmington Car Accident

A 28-year-old man is in critical condition after a two-vehicle accident in Farmington Tuesday morning.

The man, whose name has not been released, was driving a Chevrolet Blazer westbound when he failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of U.S. Highway 89 and a frontage road and was struck by a southbound vehicle that had the right of way just before 9 a.m. Tuesday. The impact of the collision caused the Blazer to rollover, ejecting the driver.

The driver of the Blazer suffered head injuries and was airlifted to Intermountain Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.

The driver of the second vehicle involved was not injured.
