Man Dies in Roll-Over Accident in Washington

A one-vehicle accident resulted in one person dead when a car rolled over south of Finley, Washington Saturday night.

The accident occurred around 8:00 p.m. Saturday on 9 Canyon Road. The vehicle was traveling on 9 Canyon Road around 8:00 p.m. Saturday when the car rolled over several times, according to Deven Hellend with Benton County Fire District 1.

“The car obviously lost control at some point, rolled several times and came to a rest on its top, and the victim was thrown from the vehicle and killed,” said Hellend.

The debris from the accident covered a quarter mile area. 9 Canyon Road was closed and no one was allowed anywhere near the accident. Benton County Sheriff’s Deputies have not released any more information pending family notification.
