Man in Critical Condition After Magna Accident
A man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Magna Thursday night.
The 28-year-old man was traveling in his car westbound through the intersection of 2800 South and 7200 West near the border of Magna and West Valley City at 8:11 p.m. when he was struck by a southbound pickup truck that had run a red light, according to Salt Lake County sheriff’s Lt. Don Hutson.
The 28-year-old driver of the car was airlifted to Intermountain Medical Center and then transported to Pioneer valley where he was listed in critical condition.
Charges are expected to be filed pending the results of the investigation.
