Man Killed, Another Burned in Head-On Collision
A man was killed and another suffered injuries in a fiery accident in Delaware County, Oklahoma Monday afternoon.
An 84-year-old Bernice man was driving a pickup truck eastbound on U.S. 60 when his truck crossed median and collided head-on with a westbound dump truck trailer driven by James Edward Coshatt, 51, of Bristow around 12:40 p.m. Monday. Both vehicles burst into flames.
The 84-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was partially ejected from the truck and was pronounced dead the accident scene.
Coshatt was airlifted to Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, where he was listed in critical condition and suffers serious burns.
