Man Killed, Brother Injured in Car Accident
A man was killed and his brother suffered injuries in a one-vehicle accident just south of Caldwell Tuesday evening.
Holden Bishop, 23, of Caldwell, was traveling northbound on FM 3058 when he attempted to a pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone. As a vehicle approached, Holden swerved back into his proper lane and lost control of the car, running into a tree at about 6:20 p.m.
Holden’s brother, Tyler Bishop, 21, of Caldwell, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Holden Bishop was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan with non-life threatening injuries.
The brothers were both wearing seat belts, according to the Department of Public Safety.
