Man Killed by Overturned Forklift

A 49-year-old man was killed early Monday when a forklift was alleged to have fallen on him.

Medical crews along with police and fire officials rushed to the scene where John Fugate was fatally injured.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident. A scheduled autopsy today has hope to lend further details.

Employees were sent home and the plant shut down for the rest of the day.

Fugate was an employee at Maryland Bootz Industries plant for over 20 years.
