Man Killed in Accident at TVA Kingston Plant
A delivery driver suffered fatal injuries in an accident at the TVA Kingston plant.
Larry LaCroix, from Iowa, was delivering 20-inch diameter pipes, used in removal of material from the massive ash spill, on a flat bed to the plant when the accident occurred.
When LaCroix attempted to release the straps to unload the pipes the load fell on him around 9 a.m. Monday.
LaCroix was transported to Roane County Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
