Man Killed in ATV Roll-Over Accident

A man was killed Saturday afternoon from injuries he suffered when he rolled an all-terrain vehicle in Miles City, Montana.

Steve McCollum, 41, of Miles City, flipped the ATV he was driving in front of Reynold’s Grocery Store in Miles City around 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

McCollum was transported to Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, and was then air lifted to Billings where he remained in care until Sunday, when he was pronounced day.

The accident is under investigation. Authorities believe that speed and alcohol were factors in the accident.

According to Miles City Chief of Police, Kevin Krausz, McCollum was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
