Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident
A man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Lyon County, Nevada Friday morning.
Wallace B. Moore, Jr., of Santa Rosa, California was riding his 1994 Honda Goldwind motorcycle southbound on State Route 338 when he lost control of the vehicle as he rounded a curve at about 11:30 a.m. Friday, according to Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Chuck Allen.
Moore was thrown from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the accident scene.
One lane of State Route 338 was closed for a several hours.
