Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident in California
A 61-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on the transition road from southbound Interstate-505 to eastbound I-80 in California.
When California Highway Patrol officers responded to the accident scene around 11:45 p.m. Friday, the motorcycle was recovered but the driver was no where to be found.
The next day at about 11 a.m. Saturday, a Fairfield woman reported her husband missing and two CHP units and an aircraft were dispatched to the area of the motorcycle accident.
The body of the husband was found in thick brush a substantial distance from the area where the motorcycle had previously been found, said officers.
It is not believed that alcohol was a factor in the crash. California Highway Patrol officers are investigating the accident.
