Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after an accident near the southbound exit ramp to State Highway 183 in Irving, Texas Monday afternoon.

A man estimated to be in his late 20s or early 30s, whose identity has not been released pending family notification, was traveling on his motorcycle when the accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. Monday. The man was thrown from the motorcycle and over a retaining wall as he traveled on State Highway 161 in Irving.

The man was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas suffering from serious internal injuries.

It is unknown what caused the accident or if other vehicles were involved.
