Man Killed in One-Vehicle Accident
A man died in a one-vehicle accident Sunday night just north of Dawson Springs, Kentucky.
Billy Adamson, 28, of Dawson Springs, was traveling in his vehicle at a high rate of speed on Daylight Road when he lost control of the vehicle, according to Kentucky State Police. Adamson struck a group of trees and a gravel driveway, causing his vehicle to launch almost 30 feet into the air.
Adamson, who was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The accident is under investigation. It is unknown was caused Adamson to lose control of his vehicle.
