Man Killed in One-Vehicle Accident

A man suffered fatal injuries in a one-vehicle in Anne Arundel County late Monday morning.

Horace Adams, 81, of Dunkirk, Calvert County, was traveling on Southern Maryland Blvd when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a guardrail off the roadway around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Adams was ejected from the vehicle on the passenger side while the vehicle continued back onto the roadway and came to a rest in a group of trees.

Adams was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Police determined driver error to be the cause of the accident.
