Man Killed in One-Vehicle Accident

A man died after in a roll-over accident near Have de Grace Thursday morning. An on-ramp to Interstate 95 was closed for several hours in result of the accident.

Matthew S. Markle, 38, of Conowingo in Cecil County, was traveling on the ramp from Route 155 to southbound 1-95 when he lost control of his pickup truck, causing it to leave the roadway and fall into a ditch where it overturned, according to Maryland State Police.

Troopers from the JFK Highway Barrack in Perryville responded to the accident scene at approximately 7 a.m. to find Markle trapped inside the pickup. Markle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The southbound ramp was closed for around three hours, police stated.
