Man Killed in One-Vehicle Rollover Accident

A man was killed in a one-vehicle rollover accident on 210 Freeway in Pacoima, California Tuesday morning.

The 43-year-old man from Mission Hills, whose identity has not been released, was traveling in his pickup truck eastbound on 210 Freeway when he apparently lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn and roll down an embankment, according to the California Highway Patrol.

As the truck rolled down the embankment, it traveled “through a security fence and onto Foothill Boulevard,” where it came to rest on its roof just west of Paxton Street, the CHP said. The driver was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The accident occurred around 1:45 a.m. The accident is under investigation.
