Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision

A man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on State Road 46 east of Bowling Green Thursday morning.

Scott Dickey, 50, of Indianapolis, was traveling eastbound on SR 46 in a 2004 Kenworth Tractor with an empty trailer when he collided with a 2007 Jeep Wrangler traveling westbound at about 5:53 a.m. According to Dickey, the Wrangler crossed the median and drove into the eastbound lane.

The driver of the Wrangler, Calvin Knox, 20, of Bloomington, who was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Dickey sustained minor injuries and did not require treatment.
