Man Killed in Wadena County Farm Accident

An elderly man has died from injuries he suffered in a tractor accident at a farm in Wadena County Sunday afternoon.

Clyde Swanson, 88, of Nimrod, was found trapped underneath a tractor in a ditch by Wadena County Sheriff Officers responding to a call about the accident at a farm on County Road 14 just before 1 p.m.

Swanson was transported to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena, and was later flown to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where he was pronounced dead Monday morning from injuries he suffered in the accident.
